Deputy Secretary of Ukraine’s NSDC Meets UK National Director for Armaments
On Thursday, 29 January 2026, Davyd Aloyan, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, held a meeting with Rupert Pearce, National Director for Armaments at the UK Ministry of Defence.
The discussion focused on the current security situation, Ukraine’s pressing needs to counter Russian armed aggression, and prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in armaments and military-technical collaboration.
Davyd Aloyan emphasized that the United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine’s key partners in military-technical support, providing significant financial aid, modern weaponry, and training for Ukrainian service members as part of long-term commitments.
Rupert Pearce highlighted that Ukraine contributes significantly to the security of Europe and confirmed continued UK support to strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Ukraine consistently works to achieve technological superiority on the battlefield. We greatly value the United Kingdom’s contribution and look forward to deepening cooperation in military-technical collaboration and the development of defense-industrial capabilities,” noted Davyd Aloyan.
