Results of Ukraine’s Defense Industry in 2025: Deep Strike

Deep_Strike.jpegUkrainian Deep Strike is the capability to hit the enemy where it feels it most.

The strike range of Ukrainian long-range drones exceeds 2,000 kilometers. This enables strikes against targets deep in the enemy’s rear—military facilities, logistics, and energy infrastructure that directly supports the war.

As of 2026, Ukraine’s production capacity in the Deep Strike segment amounts to approximately USD 25 billion. This is the result of a systematic state policy, private-sector development, cooperation with partners, and the rapid scaling of technological solutions under wartime conditions.

In 2025, Ukraine employed six times more long-range drones than in 2024. Every dollar invested in this area inflicts approximately USD 10 in direct and indirect losses on Russia.

Ukrainian strikes have disabled about 20% of Russia’s oil refining capacity. This directly affects the enemy’s ability to finance the war.

The development of long-range capabilities is a matter of justice: Ukraine must be able to respond to Russia to every strike against our citizens and our cities. Domestic production of drones and missiles provides such a response—timely, precise, and effective.

Long-range strikes not only enable the achievement of strategic objectives, but also shift positions in this war. Russia understands only the language of force; therefore, direct and indirect damage to its economy strengthens our positions in future negotiations.

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine ensures strategic coordination of the development of long-range capabilities: alignment of priorities, oversight of program implementation, interaction with manufacturers, and integration of Deep Strike into the overall national defense system.
