NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov continues his work in Davos

NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov, together with the Head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction Davyd Arakhamia and the Presidential Advisor for Strategic Affairs Oleksandr Kamyshin, held meetings with colleagues from BlackRock—one of the world’s largest American investment companies involved in Ukraine’s reconstruction and economic recovery plans.

The NSDC Secretary also met with the Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre and the Prime Minister of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

A separate meeting was held with American partners Jared Kushner and White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff.

The main topics of discussion were economic development, post-war recovery, and security guarantees.

The Ukrainian delegation informed partners about the latest Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure, in particular the situation in Kyiv, where strikes left millions of people without electricity and heating.

“We continue working with partners, combining the defense of the country today with laying the foundation for its recovery tomorrow,” Rustem Umerov stated.
