Ukraine directed over 70% of weapon procurement spending to its own defense industry

In 2025, Ukraine allocated more than 70% of its weapon procurement budget to domestic production. This demonstrates that today our defense industry is capable of supplying exactly the types of weapons most needed on the battlefield.

Continuous feedback between manufacturers and frontline troops allows technologies to quickly adapt to the needs of the front.

Ukrainian drones, robotic systems, armored vehicles, artillery, ammunition, and missiles all contribute to strengthening our defense.

Investing in the domestic defense sector is Ukraine’s response to the challenges of modern warfare and a testament to the fact that our weapons form the foundation of national security.

Expanding the share of Ukrainian-made weapons on the battlefield remains a key priority. Ukrainian defense innovations have already proven their effectiveness and reshaped approaches to warfare in the 21st century.
