USD 6.7 billion — International financing of Ukraine’s defense industry in 2025
Ukraine managed to attract USD 6.7 billion for domestic defense production in 2025.
This significantly strengthened the manufacturing capabilities of our defense industry and contributed to the development of critical areas of the country’s defense capacity.
Key partners supporting the defense-industrial complex include the European Union, as well as the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, and Denmark.
These funds are not only support for production projects, but also a contribution to Europe’s overall security and to creating conditions for restoring a just and lasting peace.
International investors are paying particular attention to the development of unmanned systems, as more than 70% of the assistance is directed precisely to these capabilities. In particular, our partners allocated over USD 1.5 billion for Deep Strike systems. Long-range strikes are critically important for deterring Russian aggression and force the enemy to feel the war on its own territory.
We are grateful to our international partners for their significant contribution to the development of Ukraine’s defense sector. Such support strengthens our resilience and brings a just peace closer.
