A meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief was held

On January 13, a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief took place, during which the development of the military-political situation and the adversary’s prospects in the first half of 2026 were discussed, with a particular focus on the drone and technological component.

During the meeting, members of the Headquarters heard an intelligence briefing. The capabilities of the Defense Forces to scale up the unmanned component were discussed separately.

As a result, a decision was made to increase the effectiveness of the “Drone Line,” strengthen command and control, and provide it with the necessary resources.

The Ministry of Defense was tasked with streamlining and ensuring the distribution of funds among strike assets and identifying additional financial reserves to cover the urgent needs of the Defense Forces.

At the same time, special attention during the meeting was paid to scaling up the production of fiber-optic drones, taking into account range and strike accuracy.

“Unmanned technologies are one of the key factors in deterring the enemy. The decisions of the Headquarters are aimed at systematically strengthening this capability,” noted NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov.
