A meeting on increasing the effectiveness of air defense took place at the NSDC Staff

Under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC, Yevhenii Ostrianskyi, a meeting was held to enhance the effectiveness of air defense. 

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Staff, the Air Force, and the intelligence services took part in the meeting.

The military reported on specific plans to strengthen air defense capabilities, in particular regarding interceptor drones and missiles, localization of repairs of Western systems, and the development of a threat early warning system.

Strengthening sanctions pressure on the defense industry of the aggressor state was also an important topic.

“We understand that russia will continue its aerial terror, so we are intensifying all efforts to protect Ukrainian skies,” Yevhenii Ostrianskyi noted.
