Under the auspices of the NCSCC, the Ukrainian cyber team made its debut at the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2025

1.jpegThe European Cybersecurity Challenge (ECSC) took place in Warsaw – the largest continental cybersecurity tournament, bringing together more than 400 young professionals from 39 countries.

This year, for the first time in history, the Ukrainian national cyber team, formed based on the results of the National Technological Sports Championship in the CTF discipline, entered the European arena.

For our participants, participation in the ECSC was a powerful learning and training stage – an opportunity to compete with the best, gain international experience, and strengthen Ukraine's position in the European cyber community.

“The debut of the National Cyber Team at the European level confirms that Ukrainian youth are capable of competing with the best specialists in Europe. The formation of a strong cybersecurity school is a strategic task for the state,” said Serhiy Demedyuk, Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and Deputy Head of the National Cyber Security Center.

During the competition, Ukraine submitted an application to host the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2026, which has already been supported by ENISA and the ECSC Executive Committee.

Thus, our country is among the nominees to host one of the most prestigious European tournaments in the field of cybersecurity.

The team's debut was made possible under the auspices of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Together, we are shaping a new generation of cyber experts capable of ensuring Ukraine's cyber resilience and technological security.
