Finnish President Alexander Stubb in Kyiv: working together to strengthen the security of Ukraine and Europe

During the visit, a briefing was held, during which Ukrainian military and security sector representatives briefed the President of Finland on the operational situation at the front, intelligence data on the security situation, cyber defense measures, and prospects for the development of the defense-industrial complex.

“Finland is our reliable ally. We highly appreciate its support, ranging from billions of euros in military aid to contributions to humanitarian and recovery programs. Together, we are strengthening the security of Ukraine and all of Europe,” emphasized Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

At the same time, Alexander Stubb assured Finland's unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and confirmed his readiness to deepen the strategic partnership.
