President enacts NSDC decision on sanctions against 139 individuals and companies and 28 citizens of other countries

7252-1754296982.jpgPresident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed two decrees enacting the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine to impose sanctions.

The first document provides for the synchronization of Ukrainian sanctions with those of Canada. It is a full reflection of this year's decisions of the Canadian government regarding 139 individuals and legal entities working for the Russian military machine. At the same time, preparations are underway to synchronize Ukrainian sanctions in the jurisdictions of partner countries.

The second decree imposed sanctions against 28 citizens of different countries and 2 legal entities that help Russia maintain the occupation regime on Ukrainian territories and actually finance the aggression. Each of them is being investigated jointly with the law enforcement agencies of our partners.

"Sanctions are a weapon that strikes at the rear of the aggressor. Anyone who helps Russia wage this war should know that their name will definitely appear on the sanctions lists, and their business and assets will never be safe again. Ukraine, together with its partners, is making the sanctions pressure inevitable and global," emphasized NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov.
