NSDC Secretary Meets with Slovak Delegation

On Tuesday, July 15, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of the Slovak Republic headed by Member of the National Council of the Slovak Parliament Tomas Valesek. The delegation also included experts from the European Council on Foreign Relations and the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).

The conversation focused on Ukraine's key defense needs, the development of innovations in the security and defense sector, and the prospects for joint defense production. The parties paid special attention to deepening the bilateral dialogue between Ukraine and Slovakia.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine informed the delegation about the current security situation, in particular about the intensification of massive air attacks on Ukrainian cities by Russia, and expressed gratitude to the Slovak people for their consistent support of Ukraine in the fight against the aggressor.
