Representatives of the NCCC visited the national exhibition of Ukrainian software solutions SVOE.IT
Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Serhiy Demediuk, Secretary of the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity Natalia Tkachuk and Head of the NCCC Support Department of the NSDC Office Serhiy Prokopenko visited the National Showroom of Ukrainian Software SVOE.IT 2025 on Friday, May 9.
The event, which featured more than 50 leading Ukrainian IT products and services, brought together representatives of the Ukrainian IT industry to promote domestic technological solutions, demonstrating how Ukrainian IT products work, scale and replace foreign counterparts, including Russian ones.
The participants also discussed current issues and priorities for the development of the national IT ecosystem. A number of panel discussions covered topics such as countering Russian malware, automation and digitalization of services in the current environment, ensuring cybersecurity for small and medium-sized businesses, and the impact of artificial intelligence.
To minimize the threats posed by Ukraine's dependence on foreign technologies, solutions, and IT services, on April 10, 2025, the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center approved a strategic decision to ensure Ukraine's digital sovereignty.
The development, implementation, and use of a national product is not only a matter of economic development, but also of national security. In the context of rapid digital development, foreign-made software can serve as an instrument of hostile influence. In particular, Russian special services have successfully used Russian software in their intelligence and subversive activities against Ukraine for years.
The development of our own IT and cybersecurity ecosystem, creation of high-quality, affordable and secure national IT products, and interaction between the state and business are key to Ukraine's digital sovereignty.
The NCCC expresses its sincere gratitude to the organizers of the event, the IT community of Ukraine for supporting and promoting the Center's solutions for the development of national IT products and services, the use of sovereign Ukrainian resources, which contributes to the development of the national digital infrastructure and strengthens the cyber resilience of the state.
