18.jpgThe Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) has been operating under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine for over four years. During this time, 21,335 information threats have been identified.

The activities of the CPC are an important component of the security of Ukraine's information space, as the Center focuses on countering the spread of false information and combating information terrorism.

“The total coverage of our materials in the media exceeded 1.7 billion. And this is not about popularity, but about the need for truthful information,” says Andriy Kovalenko, head of the CPJ. ”We are present on Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Viber, Youtube, have our own website and author's project MordoRU Research Center.

The Center's team works together with Meta, Google, and Tik Tok to counter disinformation. It engages Ukrainian influencers and bloggers who, in particular, produce children's content.

Thus, the Center works with all Ukrainian special services and government agencies, and has partners among non-governmental and international organizations. In particular, successful projects have been implemented in partnership with the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

Together with its partners, the Center monitors the activities of Russian disinformation networks operating in Europe.

“The Center cooperates with partners from 30 countries, actively participates in international forums and seminars. There is a constant exchange of information with 65 institutions, including NATO,” explains Andriy Kovalenko.

To date, with the Center's assistance, thousands of disinformation channels have been blocked, a number of hostile information campaigns have been disrupted, and a number of agents of influence have been exposed.
