NSDC Secretary meets with Ghanaian parliamentary delegation
On Thursday, 19 September, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of representatives of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana. This is the first official visit of the delegation to Ukraine since 1992, when diplomatic relations were established.
Oleksandr Lytvynenko thanked the Ghanaian parliamentarians for participating in the Peace Summit which confirms their country's interest in achieving a just peace in Ukraine.
During the meeting, attention was paid to the security situation in Ukraine and the consequences of the military aggression of the russian federation against our country in the context of ensuring food security on the African continent.
For his part, Member of the Parliament of Ghana Samuel Okudzeto expressed his support for the Ukrainian people in their fight against the aggressor and confirmed his readiness to counter russian disinformation and spread the truth about russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.
