Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with Latin American media outlets

On Wednesday, 11 September, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with journalists and editors from Latin America, and informed the delegation about the security situation in Ukraine, the situation on the frontline, and the preparation of our energy system for winter.

Addressing the media, the NSDC Secretary emphasised that Ukraine continues to implement the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in particular, preparing for the next Peace Summit.

Oleksandr Lytvynenko drew the attention of Latin American media representatives to the fact that it is now crucial to jointly counter russian disinformation and tell the world the truth about russian aggression against the people of Ukraine.

The meeting with media representatives from Argentina, Ecuador, Guatemala, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Mexico, Peru, Chile, and Uruguay was facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The journalists came to Ukraine to support the interest of their fellow citizens in our country and to enhance understanding of the areas of further support in countering russian aggression and overcoming the consequences of the war.
