Volodymyr Zelenskyy: The decision of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff's meeting allocated additional funding for Ukraine's missile programme
On Tuesday, 6 August, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff's meeting where a number of issues were discussed.
In particular, the participants discussed the situation at the frontline - in the Pokrovske, Toretske and Kharkiv axis.
The meeting also addressed the needs of the Defence Forces by the end of the year and the dynamics of the production of Ukrainian drones and missiles, as well as the supply of weapons and equipment to additional brigades.
The meeting was reported by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, Minister of Defence of Ukraine Rustem Umierov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation Mykhailo Fedorov and Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshin.
Reports from the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service on the forecasts of the situation and the immediate goals of russian troops were heard as well.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine is currently actively working with partners.
"By the decision of the Staff's meeting, additional funding was allocated to our missile programme. There will be more missiles of our own production", - concluded the President of Ukraine.
