The event was devoted to the use of a new approach to automating the monitoring of the implementation of the Cybersecurity Strategy of Ukraine using the CyberTracker portal.

Image 4.jpeg"The implementation of the Cybersecurity Strategy of Ukraine is extremely important for ensuring national security. The CyberTracker portal will become an indispensable tool in managing the processes of ensuring the resilience of the national cybersecurity system, providing an opportunity for more effective systematic monitoring and data analysis. The use of the tool will help improve the effectiveness of tracking the progress of the Strategy's tasks and goals, as well as improve Ukraine's position in international cybersecurity rankings", - said Serhii Prokopenko, Head of the NCCC Support Department of the Specialised Service of the NSDC Secretariat.

Image 5.jpeg"We welcome the creation of the CyberTracker platform, which, thanks to the use of modern information and communication technologies, allows us to increase the efficiency of the processes of submitting and processing reporting information on the status of implementation of the tasks of the Cybersecurity Strategy of Ukraine. We have high expectations that the implementation and use of this platform will accelerate the submission of reporting data from the Strategy's implementers, and the introduction of criteria for assessing the progress of each task will allow us to make appropriate data-driven decisions", - said Ihor Malcheniuk, Director of the Cyber Defence Department of the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine.

The introduction of the CyberTracker portal will allow to:

- analyse the impact of the strengths and weaknesses of the Strategy's activities to make appropriate decisions
- effectively inform the public and international partners about the progress of the Strategy;
- simplify the procedure for reporting on the implementation of the Strategy for relevant government agencies and cybersecurity actors.

Image 3.jpegIryna Khomenko, Deputy Chief of Party of the USAID Cybersecurity Project, explained during the opening of the training that among all the project initiatives, the CyberTracker portal is one of the most significant with national coverage. "CyberTracker that you see today is the result of joint work to strengthen Ukraine's cyber defence. We are grateful to the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and the State Service of Special Communications for their trust and work on this tool and are convinced that it will improve coordination of all implementers of the Cybersecurity Strategy of Ukraine", - summed up Iryna Khomenko.

CyberTracker, a portal to monitor the implementation of the Cybersecurity Strategy of Ukraine, was developed with the support of the USAID Project "Cybersecurity of Ukraine's Critical Infrastructure".
