The recent official statements by our NATO and EU partners attributing cyberattacks to russian hackers demonstrate that the international community is aware of the crimes committed by russia against their countries and people. Therefore, it is now necessary to develop strategies together to predictably and continuously improve collective cyber resilience, which is an important step in ensuring security at both the national and international levels", - said Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Serhiy Demediuk, opening the event.

‘After russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, we realised that the matter of cyber diplomacy, as well as diplomacy in general, became a matter of our survival. Thanks to the help of our international partners, we survived then, we are holding on now, and we will be able to gain the victory. Almost a year ago, the NCCC held a meeting at which a strategic decision was made to develop an effective cyber diplomacy system in Ukraine. This decision was the impetus for organisational and personnel changes in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the launch of the Tallinn Mechanism, the formation of one voice of Ukraine in the international arena and the unification of the world's leading countries around our country to strengthen our cybersecurity 441074441_764751595835560_1286114604481987517_n.jpgsystem. And I am grateful to the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and all those who are driving this direction today, because only together we will be able to repel russia and improve the cyber resilience of the entire democratic world", - emphasised the Secretary of the NCCC.

During the conference, the participants learned about the challenges and opportunities in cyber diplomacy, as well as exchanged knowledge and approaches for a more predictable and secure development of cybersecurity capabilities.
