Ukraine is doing everything to prevent a food crisis in the world. This was stated by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on the air of Ukrainian Radio on Friday, August 4. 

The NSDC Secretary emphasized that the issue of supplying Ukrainian grain to the world was on the agenda of today's meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"We are not going to stop on the issue of grain exports. We have not had a single 'grain deal' with russia, but we have agreements with Turkey and the UN, which, according to the charter, should support the Black Sea Grain Initiative," he said.

Answering the question whether Ukraine has enough power to confront russia, Oleksiy Danilov said that "we will send our grain ships wherever we deem necessary, without asking permission" from the russians.

"Ukraine is doing everything to provide the world with food, as well as economic stability for domestic agricultural producers. The question remains for the civilized world: how long will it tolerate a terrorist country?" - he said.
