First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak met with the delegation of the European External Action Service
First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Colonel General Ruslan Khomchak met with a delegation of the European External Action Service (EEAS) headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service Enrique Mora.
During the meeting the parties discussed cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in countering russian aggression.
Ruslan Khomchak informed about the operational situation at the frontline, emphasizing that the European Union is one of Ukraine's key partners in the fight against the russian aggressor.
He emphasized that the visit of the EEAS delegation to Kyiv is "a manifestation of unwavering support for our country".
"Ukrainians give the most valuable thing - their lives for democratic European values, for the right to become members of the European family. And in order to successfully resist such a strong enemy, we need international assistance," Ruslan Khomchak said.
At the same time, Enrique Mora, Deputy Secretary General of the European External Action Service, noted that the EU will continue to help our country by contributing to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
"There is a unanimous understanding in the EU that assistance will be provided to Ukraine for as long as it is needed," Enrique Mora assured, emphasizing that the partners support the peace formula proposed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
