A meeting on the state of implementing the SDO for 2021 took place at the NSDC Staff

First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak, held an interagency meeting on the implementation of the State Defense Order for 2021 and preparation of a draft Three-year plan for procurement of defense goods, works, and services for 2022-2024.

The meeting was held in the framework of monitoring the implementation of the NSDC decision of March 11, 2021 “On the main indicators of the State Defense Order for 2021 and 2022, 2023”, enacted by the Presidential Decree of March 30, 2021, № 132.

Representatives of ministries and agencies reported on the state of implementing the planned SDO key indicators for 2021 and the use of state guarantees provided for the current year.

Following the discussion, Mr. Khomchak stressed the importance of timely implementation of contracts and efficient use of budget funds. “All bureaucratic formalities must be minimized. The consumer must receive the final product in a timely manner”, - he said.

The First Deputy NSDC Secretary noted that all participants of the SDO must submit the necessary proposals and clarifications to the Three-year plan for procurement of defense goods, works, and services for 2022-2024 by 31.12.2021.
