The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov conducted the meeting with extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of India to Ukraine Partha Satpathy.

"The world is before new challenges, and we could work together to respond to them," - the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine said at the beginning of the meeting.

He thanked India for assistance to prevent the COVID-19 epidemic spread in Ukraine and noted that Ukraine keeps watch the development of the coronavirus vaccine by Indian and British experts.

In his turn, Mr. Ambassador expressed the readiness of the Indian side to continue to provide Ukraine with comprehensive assistance in the fight against COVID-19.

The Parties stated the successful partnership and discussed prospects for practical cooperation, in particular for the military-technical cooperation sphere.

In this context, the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine announced the establishment of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine headed by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleh Urusky, which will be responsible for the formation and implementation of military-industrial policy, and space industry development as well.
