Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Institute of State Guard of Ukraine of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov took part in ceremonial events on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Institute of State Guard of Ukraine of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Congratulating the management, tutors, staff and students of the Institute on the anniversary, Mr. Danilov stressed the important role the Institute plays in preparing security and safeguarding specialists, noticing that it became the first higher education institution in this sphere in Ukraine.

“Your cause is a significant contribution to strengthening national security and defense”, - Mr. Danilov pointed out.

The NSDC Secretary expressed special gratitude to veterans who, according to him, have dedicated the best years of their lives to the service and now share their knowledge with the young generation of defenders.

For their significant contribution to ensuring national security and defense, high professionalism, selfless work, devotion to the noble vocation and duty and on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Institute of State Guard of Ukraine of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Mr. Danilov presented the NSDC awards to the staff of the Institute.

Head of the Institute of State Guard of Ukraine of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Oksana Horova was awarded with the Medal of Honor of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of the 1st degree. Volodymyr Nastradin, Mykola Ishchenko, and Olena Levenets were awarded with the Medal of Honor of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of the 3rd degree.
