Ukraine launches 2FA cybersecurity campaign

The information campaign has been launched in Ukraine with the support of the governments of the United Kingdom, the United States and the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity (working body of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine). The presentation of the campaign, to be launched on March 12 this year, took place today in Kyiv.

The main goal of the project is to inform citizens about simple and effective methods of personal cyberdefense. The project continues the national cybersecurity awareness campaign #ПарольГраєРоль (“Password matters”) held in Ukraine in March 2019.

During the event, participants presented the basic principles of the campaign and the results of the study of the level of awareness of Ukrainians about network security.

During the second phase of the campaign, citizens will be made aware of the importance of using two-factor authentication and the risks that users may face online.
