NCCC promptly organized work to ensure the sustainable functioning of career.gov.ua portal and the proper protection of personal data

On Friday, an extraordinary meeting of the working group on response to cyberincidents and countering cyberattacks against state information resources within the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity (NCCC) took place at the Staff of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Members of the working group - representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, the Department of Cyber ​​Police of the National Police of Ukraine, experts of the NSDC Staff, considered the vulnerability of the Single Job Portal (career.gov.ua) of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, which had led to the leakage of some of the personal data of Ukrainian citizens.

Head of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Oleksandr Starodubtsev was also present at the meeting.

NCCC promptly organized work to identify the vulnerability, overcome its consequences, and ensure the sustainable functioning of career.gov.ua portal and the proper protection of personal data.

The importance of cybersecurity issues in the processes of digital transformation of the state and the need to ensure proper cybersecurity of their information systems by public authorities were also considered during the meeting.
