Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the issues of deepening cooperation between Ukraine and Japan in the security sector. The parties also considered the situation in the East of Ukraine which has developed as a result of Russia's hybrid aggression against Ukraine.

Moreover, the parties discussed the reform of the domestic defense-industrial complex and the possibility of deepening cooperation between our countries in this sphere.
