Oleksandr Turchynov from the ATO zone: Thanks to the courage and professionalism of our servicemen military undertakings of the occupational Russian troops are doomed

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov visited the ATO zone, where he held a meeting with the military leadership on the readiness of military servicemen to perform combat tasks in the autumn-winter period.

Mr. Turchynov heard a report of the military leaders regarding the provision of our warriors with winter clothing, the arrangement and winterization of places for accommodation and heating, bath-laundry service, medical support of personnel and readiness of equipment for use in low-temperature conditions.

Moreover, the issue of providing the frontlines with weapons and military equipment was discussed.

Given the significant losses that occurred two days ago (4 dead, 4 wounded), Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine set the task to strengthen measures to save the lives and health of military servicemen in conditions of constant military provocations of the enemy.

After the meeting, Mr. Turchynov came to the forefront of our defense in the area of Svitlodarsk salient. In particular, the visited the defensive posts, which had been won back from the enemy.

According to Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, despite the Minsk agreements, Russian-terrorist groupings continue military provocations and shellings of our positions. "But thanks to the courage and professionalism of our servicemen military undertakings of the occupational Russian troops are doomed", - he stressed.
