Oleksandr Turchynov: The project of blocking separatist and Russian broadcasting in the ATO zone is ready for implementation

"Information aggression is one of the most dangerous components of hybrid war waged by Russia against us. Therefore, blocking of the destructive influence of separatist and Russian information propaganda in the ATO zone is one of our priorities", - Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stressed during the meeting of the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity.

According to him, the leadership of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection reported on the elaborate information protection project "that will allow blocking anti-Ukrainian broadcasting along the delimitation line in the ATO zone".

Given the urgency of implementing this task, Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine addressed a proposal to Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on allocating financial resources needed for the project from the Government Reserve Fund.

"The equipment proposed by the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection is of Ukrainian production, it effectively solves the assigned tasks and is much cheaper than foreign analogs", - Mr. Turchynov pointed out.
