First Deputy to the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy paid an official visit to the Republic of Turkey

First Deputy to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleg Hladkovskiy paid a working visit to the Republic of Turkey. The delegation also included director general of the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" Roman Romanov and the top management of Ukrainian defense enterprises.

During the visit, the talks with Director of the Secretariat for Defense Industries (SSM) of Turkey Іsmail Demir and the top management of leading companies-producers of military equipment and weapons were held.

The parties discussed, in particular, the implementation of joint projects in the armored, aerospace and aircraft engineering spheres as well as in the production of UAVs and engines.

"I acknowledge with pleasure that recently, the Ukrainian-Turkish military-technical cooperation has intensified. Turkey is our strategic partner. And only through joint efforts, we can withstand global challenges. I am convinced that the current intensity of contacts between our countries in the near future will allow us to present co-produced products of military-industrial complex", - Oleg Hladkovski noticed.

Moreover, First Deputy to the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine held meetings with the top management of Turkish companies Aselsan, Roketsan, Havelsan, and visited the Turkish air company TAI, where he examined the production capacities and discussed the possibilities of development of Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the field of aircraft engineering.

The Ukrainian delegation also visited the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk; Oleg Hladkovskiy participated in the ceremony of laying flowers to the memorial.
