Oleksandr Turchynov: The evidence of Russia’s war against Ukraine can be found on the website of the President of the Russian Federation

In Ukraine, there is no internal conflict but an undeclared brutal war waged by Russia against us. This was stressed by Secretary of the National Security and Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov in his comment on another statement of President of the Russian Federation Volodymyr Putin regarding the "internal nature of the conflict in Ukraine".

"Having claimed about noninvolvement of the Russian Federation in the military confrontation in Ukraine, Volodymyr Putin once again demonstrated that the Kremlin's policy is based on cynical lies and guile", - Oleksandr Turchynov noted.

NSDC Secretary of Ukraine noticed that another indisputable evidence of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine "can be found event on the official website of the Presidential Administration of Russia".

"In such a way, in June this year, Putin signed the decree on awarding generalship to professional Russian soldiers for crimes committed in the east of our country", - he said.

According to Mr. Turchynov, the rank of general-lieutenant was awarded to major-general Asapov V. G., who from April 2015 to May 2016 had commanded the 1-st army corps located in the occupied part of the Donetsk region. The rank of lieutenant-general awarded to major-general Yudin S. S., who from January to April 2015 had commanded the 2-nd army corps located in the occupied part of the Lugansk region. The rank of general-major was awarded to colonel RuzynskyA. Y., who from April 2015 to May 2016 had commanded the 2-nd separate motorized rifle brigade (Lugansk) of the 2-nd army corps. "These two army corps, which are waging the war against us in the east of Ukraine, are an integral part of the Armed Forces of Russia and are subordinated directly to the Center for territorial forces of the Southern military district of the Russian Federation", - Oleksandr Turchynov emphasized.
