NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov took part in a tour over an exhibition of military enginery, armament and military equipment "Power of Unbowed", which on the Day of Defender of Ukraine was opened on St. Michael's Square in Kyiv by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

The exhibition presents samples of modern military equipment, which have already begun service with Ukrainian defenders as well as equipment handed to Ukraine by our allies and partners.

Among presented samples of weapons and military equipment are tanks "BM OPLOT" and "BM BULAT", which by their tactical and technical characteristics are one of the best in the world.

Also there were presented samples of modernized combat vehicles, anti-tank missile complexes, means of radio and satellite communications, radar stations, trucks to transport troops as well as armored vehicles of various types, mobile bath and laundry integrated works, means of medical support, medical reanimation vehicle, modern small arms, outfitting and munitions, special equipment and means of mine clearance, other enginery and military equipment. These new and modernized developments of Ukrainian Defense Industry have proven their effectiveness in combats.

Apart from Ukrainian samples of equipment, the exhibition also demonstrates the US military vehicles "Humvee", which came at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as the military aid for Ukraine from the United States.
