A meeting of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg took place

A meeting of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg took place.

During the meeting the parties discussed issues of cooperation between our country and NATO in the security and defense sphere.

In addition, the interlocutors paid close attention to the issue of improvement of legislation of Ukraine in the field of national security and defense as well as to reforming of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement agencies.

According to Oleksandr Turchynov, Ukraine is interested in deepening of cooperation with NATO and "has made its civilizational choice - the path to EU and NATO".

After the meeting the interlocutors continued their communication at the solemn dinner.
