The meeting of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov with a delegation of House of Representatives of the US Congress

The meeting of NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov with a delegation of House of Representatives of the US Congress, headed by the leader of the Democrats in the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi, took place today.

During the meeting the parties have discussed the interstate and military-technical cooperation between our countries.

The participants marked the commonality of judgments concerning issues of Russian aggression, paying special attention to the effectiveness of sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation.

"Only strong and armed with the modern armament Ukrainian army can stop the aggressor and become an influential factor of peace and stability in Europe" - NSDC Secretary emphasized.

In her turn Nancy Pelosi expressed the position of American parliamentarians in support of our country: "We understand that strong Ukraine is a factor of stability in Europe and we are ready to support you in every way."
