According to Oleksander Turchynov the key to peace and stability in Ukraine should be "only strong Armed Forces of Ukraine". "Today the Army of Ukraine protects not only own country, it protects peace and stability in Europe" ‑ said the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
In this context, he stresses that is why the Government considers "creating strong Armed Forces, equipped with modern weapons" as one of its priorities.
In their turn, the Ambassador of Japan Shigeki Sumi and the Ambassador of the Great Britain to Ukraine Simon Smith stress that their countries "are ready to support Ukraine".
"Until we would not be confident that Russia fulfills the agreements reached in Minsk, sanctions continue to apply" ‑ said Simon Smith, adding that the World should show to Russia "how much is the aggression".
