Preparation for the heating season, internal plan to strengthen the state: The President of Ukraine chaired Supreme Commander-in-Choef's Staff meeting

Stavka 24102024.jpegToday, on 24 October, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired Supreme Commander-in-Choef's Staff meeting. The key topics included preparations for the heating season and the development of the Internal Strengthening Plan of Ukraine.

‘Held the Staff's meeting. We discussed in detail the preparations for the heating season in terms of security, recovery and work with partners. Government officials from the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Energy, as well as the Air Force, reported. Special attention was paid to the preparation of border and frontline communities. We also discussed long-term energy solutions that will make Ukraine more resilient. I gave clear instructions to be fulfilled by the beginning of winter,’ noted the Head of State.

During the meeting, the Defence Ministry and the military presented reports on the manning of brigades and training of servicemen, as well as a report on the construction of fortifications.

The President stressed that ‘there are areas that need to be strengthened’.

Following today's meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the members of the National Security and Defence Council to prepare certain parts of the internal plan to strengthen Ukraine.

‘Along with the Victory Plan, we have to work out all the necessary steps that will ensure our country's internal results. This applies to the frontline, defence industry, economy and finance, information, justice, regional work and other strategic areas. The NSDC Secretary will be responsible for organising this work,’ the President summed up.
