Importing parts for drones, training soldiers, protecting critical infrastructure: The President of Ukraine chaired Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting
On Monday, 16 September, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting.
The meeting participants discussed four issues.
In particular, intelligence representatives made a report on the intentions of the russian occupiers and the situation in their ranks. According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, intelligence officers ‘noted a significant deterioration in discipline’ in the russian army.
The second issue is the current state of readiness of engineering defence at critical infrastructure facilities. The President called for ‘completing all the necessary work as soon as possible’.
The third issue is the work of combat training centres. Following the report of Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Defence Ihor Voronchenko, Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the General Staff to provide a list of measures to improve the work of the centres and stressed that the state must guarantee quality training for those who defend it.
‘Lastly, drones. Some of the largest exporting countries of drone components are imposing export restrictions,' - said the President of Ukraine and added that the state has a strategy to prevent these restrictions from becoming critical for Ukraine's defence capability.
