Representatives of the NSDC Office joined the training within "Protection of Critical Radiological Infrastructure of Ukraine" project
Representatives of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine took part in a practical workshop on training of trainers on the development and facilitation of command and staff exercises on physical protection of high-level radiological sources of critical infrastructure.
The event was held as part of "Protection of Critical Radiological Infrastructure of Ukraine" project. The trainers of the event were British experts from Global Nuclear Security Partners (GNSP) international company, and a Ukrainian expert from the J. Kuzmycz Training Centre for Physical Protection, Accounting and Control of Nuclear Material.
The training was organised by the United States Foundation for Civilian Research and Development (CRDF Global in Ukraine) jointly with the Critical Infrastructure Security Service of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine with the support of the US Department of State.
The seminar was also attended by 25 representatives of state authorities. In particular, employees of NNEGC Energoatom JSC and its separate units, State Regional Centres for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, and the National Cancer Institute.
