Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine met with a delegation from RAND, the US think tank
On Thursday, 15 August, Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko met with a delegation of the RAND, the US think tank, headed by its President Jason Matheny.
The NSDC Secretary stressed the importance of the analytical and research work carried out by the organisation and expressed hope for further cooperation in key areas for Ukraine. In particular, the prospects for post-war economic recovery in Ukraine.
From his side, Jason Matheny focused on partnerships in a wide range of security issues.
The meeting was also attended by Raphael Cohen, Director of the RAND AIR FORCE Strategy and Doctrine Programme, Howard Schatz, Senior Economist, John Kennedy and Alyssa Demus, Research Fellows, James Black, Deputy Director of the RAND Europe Division for Defence and Security, and Khrystyna Holynska, Research Fellow at the Pardee RAND Graduate School.
