Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoliy Bargylevych reported on changes in the operational situation, forecasts, further actions and the manning of brigades for timely rotation.

As the President of Ukraine noted, the meeting paid much attention to the ability to strike behind the front line. We analysed the effectiveness of our drones of various types, as well as the russian army's tactics against drones. We also assessed the effectiveness of electronic warfare and other methods of combating UAVs.

"Our task is to ensure by all means and with all our might that russian troops, their logistics, and their important positions are constantly effectively defeated not only at the frontline, but also in all available depths. The available range. We are working with our partners to increase this level of protection. But while we are waiting for our partners' decisions, we are looking for our own solutions and options. The key is our drones, our flexibility in the use of drones", - emphasised Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The meeting discussed Ukraine's missile programme. The meeting heard reports from Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Ivan Havryliuk, First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, and Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

"Our missile programme has good dynamics, and although it is a difficult task, we are gradually approaching the ability to use our own missiles, and not just rely on missiles supplied by partners. Over time, Ukraine must achieve maximum defence independence - such states always find it easier to find effective allies and realise their interests", - concluded the President of Ukraine.
