Oleksandr Lytvynenko took part in a prayer event on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of Baptism of Kyivan Rus - Ukraine

On Monday, 15 July, a prayer event was held in Kyiv on the square in front of the Assumption Cathedral on the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood and the Day of Baptism of Kyivan Rus - Ukraine.

The event was attended by the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Lytvynenko, leaders of Ukrainian churches, religious organisations, chaplains, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada and the Cabinet of Ministers, the Head of the Presidential Office and his deputies, the leadership of the Security and Defense Forces, and foreign diplomats.

The holy fathers prayed for victory and a just peace for Ukraine, as well as for protection and blessings for the Ukrainian people and our warriors.
