Construction of defence fortifications, progress of mobilisation: First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council made a business visit to the northern regions of Ukraine

In accordance with the order of the NSDC Secretary, First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak made an operational visit to Rivne, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi and Volyn regions.

Together with representatives of the military command, the leadership of regional and individual district administrations, and the NSDC Office, he visited the construction of defence fortifications, and got acquainted with the issues related to mobilisation, territorial defence measures, and the state of security and physical protection of important critical infrastructure.

Particular attention was paid to identifying problematic issues and developing proposals for their resolution.
