Oleksii Danilov: We are grateful to the Kingdom of Denmark for the unwavering support for Ukraine
Preserving sovereignty and territorial integrity is the vital goal, and the Ukrainian people will fight for it with all their vigour. This was emphasised by Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksii Danivol at the meeting with the delegation of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Denmark led by the Danish Minister of Defence Troels Lund Poulsen.
Among other participants, there also were the First Deputy Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, Colonel General Ruslan Khomchak, Head of the Office of the NSDC of Ukraine Andrii Ziuz, Head of Structural Units of the Office.
“Ukrainians have proved their readiness to fight for their rights and values. We are grateful to our allies for their help, in particular to Denmark”, – underlined Oleksii Danilov.
He also highlighted the importance for Ukraine to regain its status of a maritime nation.
“Denmark is a maritime nation, and we would like Ukraine to regain this status as well. For us, it is not only a challenge but the urgency of survival”, – explained Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine.
For his part, Troels Lund Poulsen assured that the Kingdom of Denmark will remain a country with unwavering support for Ukraine and will always help Ukrainians in their fight for democracy and freedom.
