Office of NSDC of Ukraine jointly with the EUAM implements project for modern communication system development
The availability of modern communications to coordinate the activities of Ukraine’s state agencies in the field of national security has long been a requirement of the times.
Implementing the requirements of the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine to create a multimedia system of the multiservice platform of the National Telecommunications Network, the Office of National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine with the project support of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) to Ukraine, deploys and significantly builds up multimedia services for the needs of the Office within the interagency telephone system.
We are shifting away from the old Soviet standards of automatic telephone communication which is not only outdated and costly to maintain, but also vulnerable in terms of technical security.
Installing equipment from one of the most renowned Western manufacturers, we create a modern, user-friendly interface that includes IP telephony, audio, video and web conferencing, mail and instant messaging systems. They significantly increase the speed, convenience and security of the work of the NSDC Office’s staff with other government agencies that are part of Ukraine’s security and defence forces.
Today, on 4 October, Andrii Ziuz, Head of the NSDC Office, awarded Maksym Budakov, National Security Adviser, EUAM Ukraine, with the medal “Distinguished National Security Council and Defence of Ukraine”, III degree.
