Oleksiy Danilov: In the near future, russia will raise rates as much as possible to force Ukraine to make concessions
In the near future, russia will raise rates as much as possible and go all-in to force Ukraine to negotiate and make concessions on its terms. This was stated by Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on the air of the program "Velykyi Lviv Speaks."
According to him, russia seeks to resolve extremely important and sensitive issues as soon as possible, especially since the international situation is not in its favor, and therefore maximizes the degree of tension, in particular, intensifies rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities. In addition, russia has intensified "information attacks" and is spreading fake news, using Western media to influence public opinion in Ukraine and the world.
Oleksiy Danilov noted that russia will also try to undermine the situation inside our country by all means, and the next few months will be difficult.
In the context of russia's destabilizing actions, the NSDC Secretary drew attention to the "escalation of the situation" on the Polish-belarusian border, recalling the violation of Polish airspace by belarusian helicopters. "They are trying to figure out how NATO will react to this situation," he said, adding that much will now depend on the West's readiness to continue to repel russia, particularly in the event of open aggression.
Oleksiy Danilov noted that the russians need time to prepare for a new war, and they should not be allowed to implement these plans. According to Oleksiy Danilov, "we need to withstand the pressure and finally resolve the issue of our relations with russia."
