Oleksiy Danilov: Allies are increasing the supply of weapons to Ukraine
Thanks to the hard work of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Ukraine managed to convince its allies to increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, announced this on Friday, January 27, on Radio Svoboda.
"In November 2021, some countries had no desire to help us with weapons at all. In February 2022 we only had 4 magic words - NLAW, JAVELIN, STINGER, BAYRAKTAR. Now the partner countries agree to provide us with heavy weapons", - noted Secretary of the NSDC.
Considering this, he noted, russia will not be able to repeat the scenario of February 24, 2022 regarding the plans to seize the entire territory of Ukraine.
"We must be as ready as possible for the challenges of war. The enemy is insidious, he still has a certain amount of weapons and mobilized people," Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine emphasized.
He noted that the phase of "offensive war" will be followed by a "war of justice and retribution."
"We have to build a country of justice - a modern, prosperous, strong Ukraine. Also, russia must pay reparations for crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine. The only thing is, unfortunately, we cannot bring back the lives of our citizens who died in this war. This especially applies to innocently killed children," Oleksiy Danilov said.
