Oleksiy Danilov: russia's leadership will be held accountable for war crimes committed in The Hague

No russian war criminal will go unnoticed and unpunished. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov emphasized this on-air at the national telethon on the Rada TV channel.

He stressed that "all russian scum who made the decision to kill Ukrainian citizens will bear responsibility for it".

At the same time, the NDSC Secretary called on citizens to observe safety rules, especially during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

"Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that crazy invaders won't shell Ukraine on New Year's eve, but we know for sure that they have few missiles left", - Mr. Danilov said.

Answering a question about the situation at russia's airfields, the NSDC assured that there are not many planes left in the russian federation in good condition.

"The enemy has already begun to hide his planes, which he uses to attack Ukraine because we can get them and destroy them. The planes were flown to the Primorsky Krai, but believe me, if needed, everything necessary will be delivered to the Primorsky Krai and the Far East to cause trouble to the enemy", - he added.

Commenting on the situation in the Bakhmut region, Mr. Danilov emphasized that President of Ukraine and the entire security and defense sector are keeping the situation under control.

"For the past one and a half to two months, the situation in the Bakhmut area has been discussed at every meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. We are aware that Ukrainian fighters are not going to surrender their positions near Bakhmut. It's tough, difficult, but they are all heroes who stand on the fortress of unbreakable spirit, and the enemy is going crazy because they can't do anything", - he said.
