Representatives of the NCCC discussed with the director of the Joint Center for Advanced Technologies in NATO Cyber Defense the issue of deepening practical cooperation between Ukraine and the Center

On November 21, 2022, the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Serhii Demediuk, the head of the information and cyber security service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine - Secretary of the NCCC Nataliya Tkachuk and the head of the department of ensuring the activities of the NCCC of the NSDC Apparatus Serhiy Prokopenko on November 21, 2022 held a meeting with the director of the United Center of Advanced of NATO Cyber Defense Technologies (CCDCOE) by Mart Noorma.

The parties discussed ways to deepen practical cooperation between Ukraine and the Alliance's Joint Center for Advanced Cyber Defense Technologies. In particular, there was an exchange of views regarding the involvement of Ukrainian specialists in the work of CCDCOE, which is based in Tallinn.

"Ukraine's accession to the CCDCOE is a significant achievement in terms of strengthening international cooperation in the field of cyber security and cyber defense, as well as an important step towards Ukraine's accession to NATO. The world's first cyber war is going on in our country, and we are ready to share our experience with our partners," said S. Demediuk.

N. Tkachuk added that, taking into account the experience gained, the involvement of Ukrainian specialists in the work of the CCDCOE will have a positive effect on the effectiveness of its work. Also, according to her, this will contribute to strengthening the capabilities of the national cyber security system of Ukraine.

M. Norma emphasized the comprehensive support of Ukraine from the CCDCOE and the member states of the Alliance, and also expressed hope that a representative of Ukraine will join the work of the Center for Advanced Technologies in NATO Cyber Defense in the near future.

The representatives of the NCCC thanked for supporting Ukraine's efforts in overcoming cyber threats from the terrorist country.
