russian missile terror poses a direct threat not only to Ukraine’s security, but also to the security of Poland, Moldova and other neighboring countries

Yesterday, on November 15, 2022, russia launched a massive strike with more than a hundred missiles, destroying critical elements of civilian infrastructure and killing civilians. russia’s war against Ukraine has turned the Central European region into a high-risk zone. moscow is constantly escalating to inflict maximum civilian casualties and destroy critical infrastructure. There can be no other explanation for missile strikes.

On the morning of November 16, 2022, a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was held in Kyiv under the chairmanship of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at which yesterday’s events in Poland were comprehensively studied.

We are advocating a further most detailed examination of this incident together with our partners. We are ready to hand over to our partners the evidence of the russian trace that we have. We are also expecting information from our partners, based on which a final conclusion was made that it is a Ukrainian air defense missile. In addition, Ukraine requests immediate access to the site of the explosion for representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

We remain fully open to a comprehensive study of the situation and agreement on conclusions based on the entire set of available data.

Only russia and its missile terror are to blame for what happened. In this regard, we remind you that the Central European region can be protected from russian missiles only by building an effective air shield over the territory of Ukraine.
