O. Danilov: The stockpiles of weapons in the russian federation are not unlimited, which is confirmed by the appeal to Iran for help
The stockpile of weapons in the russian federation is not unlimited, which is confirmed by the appeal to Iran for help. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, said this on the air of the national telethon on Thursday, November 3 of this year.
According to him, if the russian federation asks Iran to provide missiles, this indicates a lack of them in a quantity sufficient for Russia to solve military issues on its own.
Today, Ukraine does not have 100% confirmation that the transfer of missiles by Iran to the russian federation took place, but such preparations are taking place, the Secretary of the Council said. "The only thing we can claim is that the Shaheds, which were sent to our territory, are of Iranian production," Oleksiy Danilov said.
At the same time, O. Danilov called it a strange situation in which Iran, being under sanctions since 1979, is able to produce products for military purposes.
The Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine highly praised the work of the air defense of Ukraine. According to him, recently partners have also begun to help Ukraine more, in particular, to provide new means of defeat and air defense, which will help protect our skies.
He reported that at the recent meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, a complex of air defense issues was considered. "At the next meeting, which will take place in the near future, they will be further considered, and we will have an understanding of how to protect our sky from any missiles - russian, Iranian, etc.," O. Danilov said.
