Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine O. Danilov met with the Ambassador of India to Ukraine H. K. Jain
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Ukraine Harsh Kumar Jain.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between Ukraine and India in a number of areas, in particular, trade, agriculture, and education. The parties paid special attention to cooperation in the field of the military-industrial complex.
The Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the Indian side for the assistance provided and the position regarding the support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to O. Danilov, Ukraine "will definitely end the war with the russian federation with a victory", and Ukrainian-Indian cooperation both today and in the post-war world "has many prospects". The Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine noted India's "powerful development indicators", expressing his belief that "the synergy of bilateral cooperation will be useful for both countries."
In turn, Mr. Ambassador assured India's unwavering position regarding "the importance of observing international law and the UN Charter." Mr. Ambassador noted that to date, India has handed over 12 humanitarian aid shipments to Ukraine and is ready to provide the necessary support in the future. Mr. Jane also expressed his belief that after the war, Ukraine "will become a much stronger and more stable state."
